FAQ:: INTUITIVE ENERGY HEALING

How does energy healing work?

Everything is made of energy and researchers now can measure the energy fields that run through and around us all.

By correcting any defects in the energy field, energy healing can help restore better health to the body, mind and spirit. It also may help prevent future issues by balancing energy conditions which could later result in illness if left unbalanced.

What is a session like?
You sit on a chair with your feet flat on the ground, your eyes open and your hands palm-up. I then assess your overall energetic well-being, your energy flow and which energy centers are closed or out of balance. I then use my hands above and around your body’s energy field and major energy centers, called chakras, to put your body in an optimal position to heal itself and maintain wellness.

Do you get intuitive messages during a healing session?
Sometimes, but that is not my focus.

How many times do I need energy healing to get the results I want?
Sometimes one appointment is all that is needed. Three to five sessions are recommended for chronic issues. After that, we can determine together whether any further sessions are needed, or you may choose to experience weekly, monthly or yearly “tune up” sessions.

I am healthy. Why would I even want to try energy healing?
Even healthy people may increase their energy and improve their long-term health with energy healing sessions. Recovery time from accidents, injuries and surgeries may be faster. But health is not only physical. Energy healing can improve your ability to manage stress, deal with emotional issues, and release negative energy that may affect you down the line.

What if I don’t feel anything during the session?
That is okay, because the energy is still going to go where it is needed – somehow it always does. But most people feel something. If you don’t, I can tell you the sensations I feel. You also may see or feel subtle to noticeable differences even a few days after the session. I always advise clients to try to be aware of shifts and changes that may occur later that day or week.
